When did it get so hard for Web3 devs to land a job?

I’ve been in Web3 for about five years and really loved it. I learned a ton and felt like I was part of something exciting.

But recently my team at my previous company was let go and now finding a new role in Web3 has been shockingly difficult. I’ve ended up taking a job in Web2 just to keep things going which feels a bit surreal after all this time in crypto.

I’m not exactly sure when or why things got so much harder. Was it the market? Over-saturation? Something else? It’s weird to see how different it feels now compared to even a couple of years ago.

I guess I’m mostly just curious have other Web3 devs noticed the same shift? How have you navigated it?
