Unfair liquidation and system malfunction on Binance Futures (October 10–11, 2025)

I’m posting this now that I’ve been accepted to share my case here.

During October 10–11, 2025, I skilled an unfair liquidation on Binance Futures brought on by what seemed to be a system malfunction. The stop-loss and position-close features did not execute properly, and the platform offered no well timed notification of the disruption. Consequently, my positions have been force-liquidated, resulting in losses exceeding 17,000 USDT.

Binance later provided a partial compensation of 1,000 USDT, but and not using a clear rationalization of the basis cause or how that quantity was decided. A number of different users have reported comparable failures around the similar interval, which suggests that this was not an isolated challenge but a systemic technical fault.

To make sure the matter is correctly reviewed underneath regulatory requirements, I've filed a formal grievance with the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Fee (SFC). This publish is just not meant to attack Binance, but to doc the difficulty publicly and ask for transparency and truthful remedy for all affected users.

I sincerely hope Binance offers an official assertion or an in depth incident report clarifying what occurred throughout this outage.
